I went to Amsterdam this week and I met lots of interesting people like Holly who is from the United States. Holly and I spent Saturday together and we talked around down town. It was raining so much in Amsterdam. This week I also had lots of time off so I spent time with my host sisters and had a girls night. The girls and I watched frozen.

Shopping day was on Saturday. I helped Nick try and find a new jacket. I did a little exploring. It was my boyfriends birthday so I've been trying to find a nice present for him for when I head back home. It's almost Halloween, my plan is to watch some Halloween movies and buy myself candy! My sister was sending me pictures of my dog lucky cuddling with her Halloween costume.

My week was quite joyful. I went to a museum with Michelle and there was a swing in the middle of one of the rooms and later we went to the pet store and I fell in love with a turtle I named Charlie. I went to the movie theatre with Luke, Kate, and Nick one of the nights. This upcoming week is Halloween week where I tell the kids about Halloween and do some crafts with them, I'm really excited.

I was pretty sick this past week but I'm ready to get back to school Monday morning. On Saturday I got some fresh air and went shopping with my friends which was nice compared to staying in bed all day. My family took this picture at their thanks giving dinner for me since I couldn't be there. It's nice seeing them together.

This weekend I went with my friends to Krakow. I was quite ill for part of the trip but we did get to see many museums and ate lots of different foods. I got to see the salt mine, shindlers factory, the dragon, and more. We stayed in the mosquito hostel which was really nice. I'm planning on going back soon to see some of the things I missed.

This week was my first full week of teaching. We made beavers with the younger grades on Wednesday. Monday and Tuesday I finished introducing myself to the other classes. On Friday I went to Dancing with the Stars with my host mom and her friend. It was really loud but very entertaining. This upcoming week I'm looking forward to the presentations from the students.

I am loving Poland. I've gone to the Titanic exibit, the Warsaw Uprising Museum, church last Sunday, and I'm simply just trying to teach myself how to travel around the country. I've traveled to the mall and back with the help of Google maps. I'm looking forward to meet more of the children at school this upcoming week.
