This past week has been full of preparation for my sister and my dad visiting along with getting ready for christmas. On Saturday I saw my friends parents who brought me cookies!

This weekend I spent lots of time with my friends and we watched a bunch of movies. We watched "Over the Hedge" and a few other cartoons. I went ice skating with Sebastian and his brother. Michelle, Kate, and I had a little short birthday get together. This next week is Lukes last week and I'm sad but I know he's been away from home for an long time so I hope he has a good stay and I'm glad I got the chance to meet him

I met all my new students this week and I'm really excited get to know them better. I told my Wednesday classes about my sister coming to school to say hi and they're excited to meet her. I got more birthday cards which I wasn't expecting. I met new people on the weekend as well. My friend and I tried to trick people into thinking I was Polish but it was challenging. There was lots more snow than I expected this week and I like it but I don't like the coldness or wetness that comes along with it. I also played pool and lost.

Sadly this was my last week of my first half of classes. I know I'm going to miss them but I still get to see them in the halls. I got a wonderful blue 306 tshirt and some sweets due to my birthday being on the 27th. This week I also met a new Polish friend named Sebastian. I'm looking forward to my new classes starting the 28th.

I went on a trip to Wrocław this weekend with Michelle and we had a great time. It was about a 5 and a half hour bus ride so on the way there we watched videos on YouTube and listened to music. On Saturday Michelle and I had sushi and made friends with some of the other travelers who were staying in our hostel. I learned a few new card games. In class we finished my Canada presentations.

This past week has been fun. I went to the movies again with Michelle. We saw doctor strange. I spent time with Luke and Natalie before Michelle showed up. I bought more chocolate and some face wash. I also video chatted one of my best friends (Declan) from home. My dad sent me some puppy updates as well. I definitely miss lucky the most.

I went to Amsterdam this week and I met lots of interesting people like Holly who is from the United States. Holly and I spent Saturday together and we talked around down town. It was raining so much in Amsterdam. This week I also had lots of time off so I spent time with my host sisters and had a girls night. The girls and I watched frozen.
